Edison to Host Regional Basketball Tournament
March Madness has arrived! Edison will be hosting the Region 12 (Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio) Women's Basketball Tournament the next three days. Nine teams will be participating in this year's tournament. Six schools are from Michigan, three from Ohio, and one from Indiana. Game times and the tournament bracket is listed below. The winner of the tournament earns a trip to the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) National Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
Edison will be playing on Thursday March 1 at 6:00pm against Muskegon C.C. Our Lady Chargers are 14-13 and have high hopes as they enter tomorrow's game.
Please feel free to come and watch games throughout the afternoon and evening. Admission is free and there will be a lot of excitement in the gym as these nine teams have been preparing all season for this week. The athletic department is honored to host this prestigious tournament!
